Skidmark you're not reading that properly. Foreign nationals shoot up here all the time, and often bring their own hardware for hunting. Just get a hunting license for the duration of the trip. Nonresident alien licenses up here in Alaska run about $300, which is only a notch more than nonresident American licenses. My own is substantially cheaper ;-) We have MANY MANY foreign nationals visit for sporting purposes and nobody is going to give you trouble for having a firearm if you have your license. There's a seasonal airline route directly from Frankfurt to Anchorage we get so many tourists from there.
