Travel with CCW

I have a CCW license from Nebraska and Utah. We plan on traveling by car from NE to AZ. Our trip will take us through Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico and Arizona. Specifically can I travel through these states with a loaded handgun in my vehicle and into a valid place of business (motel, assuming they allow) without any gotchas or oh by the way?

As all states should, Oklahoma reciprocates with all states CCW. They shouldn't with states like Nebraska or California...since Nebraska won’t reciprocate with Oklahoma…BUT Oklahoma takes the high road. You just got to love Oklahoma!!!

According to http://www.handgunlaw.us/documents/USReciprocity.pdf, your NE license is valid in KS, OK, TX and AZ, while your UT license is valid in NM.

Is it legal to have a loaded handgun in the vehicle through KS and NE without those states' CCWs? I'm looking to make a trip from San Antonio to Nebraska sometime in the next few months and I know I'm in the clear in OK and TX. Don't really plan on spending much time in those states to worry about carrying though. just in the truck.

According to http://www.handgunlaw.us/documents/USReciprocity.pdf, you can carry in Kansas on a Texas CHL, if you are a resident of Texas. Nebraska doesn't honor any other state's permit.
