S&W .357 Magnum 5.jpg Colt Series 70.jpg My treasured revolver is a 6" S&W 357 Magnum. I shoot it, but not often. Untouched.
A treasured tool is my Series 70 Colt Government, brushed nickel. Decades back my IPSC pistol, and now my carry.
Fired somewhere north of 60K. When I got it I immediately had it throated and polished, beaver tail safety, ejection port cut out, mag well beveled, and bomar sights installed, adjusted, and not touched since. Later added SS Barstow barrel and stronger recoil spring. So, not collectible, however, a treasure all the same.

The Smith 357 with six inch barrel would be the first choice.

My version of treasures/treasured tools:
Ruger Single-Ten 22lr
S&W K-38
S&W K-22
Garand (original receiver but new barrel and stock. CMP returned it to new specs)
TVM 50 caliber flintlock long rifle made to fit me at 6'5"
Ruger Old Army cap and ball revolvers

All treasured and all used a lot. An unused treasure is beyond me. I easily could have mentioned a dozen more like the WW I battle rifles, a Rolling Block 45-70, a 44 magnum Super Blackhawk or 41 magnum Blackhawk. Keeping the list down to six wasn't easy.

Front and center in my safe is a sweet 870 Wingmaster given to me by my dad in the 1970s when I was a teenager. I have used it for squirrels, cottontail, snowshoes, pheasant, grouse, turkey, and many deer. I would say it is a Treasure and a Treasured tool.

Got my 870 early 70s. 2 3/4.
It's retired in the BR with 00.
An early life of bunnies and ducks.
