we tried some in a 4" GP-100, 4" Python and 4" M-65

i found it had excessive muzzle flash and crack. i also found that it wasn't as accurate as the 125gr +P

i just think it was a bad idea catering to the PC crowd

I ruined a Colt Agent on a few hundred of them.
I shot an alien Jamaican national drug dealer holding a .380 on me with 3 of them, and his lawyer sued me because he had a bag and a wheel chair (1975) as I shot a little low with my issued Model 66 Snub.

Actually the Treasury load had a good track record and is still an excellent load. It's not for airweights at all. I've probably shot close to 3 or 4 hundred rounds from an early 640 with no ill effects whatsoever.

The specs. were 1,000 fps from a 2" tube which it easily met. I believe the pressure was held around 23,000. I would suspect you would get around 1150 from a 4".

Corbon's original +P load was hotter than the Treasury load and I'm sure there were "problems" as their current .38 ammo is not as hot.
