WHat is a Haji? And where does it suggest 72 virgins danbrew? What is the bacon grease for?

Chris is right about it being racist in my opinion. Do you think Jesus would enjoy the thought of shooting people? And to me it seems kind of sick and lowroad to be glad that US soldiers are fighting and killing people. I wonder if Jesus would be happy that his pacifist beliefs are being used to instill joy in people like Danbrew who relish the thought of killing people of a different religion? Anyone else have any thoughts?

Goodness. Quit the cryin' and whinin' and acting like you're so offended. The scriptures are about LIGHT. You know, like transmitting light? So you can see stuff? Far away stuff up close, in a bright-light-like manner? LOL.

I think it is an original idea. If you don't like it, don't buy a Trijicon. But stop acting so offended about the posts on this thread. It is only the internet.

But yeah I personally like the scriptures on the optics( since im a Christian) but I could see why an atheist wouldn't.

Nothing wrong with enjoying bacon or any other deliciousness that comes from pigs while those camel jockies get what they've got coming to them.
 
Wow. 24 hours ago y'all had no idea that there were Bible verse references on their scopes. Suddenly, so many people have a hate on for the company. Others are going Holy Mall Ninja about it. Is this really imporant enough to get worked up over?
I would make a comment about 'not casting pearls before swine' but that would get the thread closed.
If you like it... cool. Enjoy. If you don't then feel free to ignore it, Dremmel it off, or buy another product.
Personally, if they had verses from the Bible, Koran, Tao Te Ching, or whatever I'd think "neat!" and spend about two minutes looking it up. After that I'd mentally file whatever the verse was and go on about the actual important things in my life. I suggest some of the folks here do the same instead of slinging insults.

...proud of you guys who're out there fighting, or who have recently...but when us old fat guys were in service, they didn't have any dumb privates sittin' in an office somewhere thinkin' up fancy names...so we just called 'em foxholes...our butts didn't know the difference:D:D:D...and we didn't for sure have any fancy flivvers to ride around in...just some old Jeeps...I'm amazed at the equipment they've come up with for my two boys who're in Iraq now to use...even Trijicon scopes...though they issued them some fancy red dots...nothing like the best for our best....now back to the original topic...I AM a Christian, but I think a lotta hooey woulda been stopped if the verses had been tucked into the boxes on a little slip of paper instead of inscribed on the sights...and those who wanted to still woulda read them...too late now....
 
I'm not religious by any means but it's refreshing and I respect a company that's not 100% motivated by profits (similar to when I get those Chickfila cravings on a Sunday). If I had the money I would definitely buy a Trijicon, but I would need to buy an AR first. :eek:

Where have you been for the last nine years? Yes, I do think Jesus would be happy to know that we are applying the old eye for an eye in the case of a "religion" that wants to kill us simply because we do not believe in their form of religion. How stupid is that? And thanks for putting words in my mouth about being glad that we're at war. War is pretty stupid too. Yet I can think of worse alternatives.

I'm very much a live and let live kind of guy - until you piss in my backyard and kill my friends and neighbors. Well... then, pal, the good ole' US of A is gonna come down on you like a ton of bricks. I'm ok with that. I guess you'd also think I'm racist when I suggest that Muslim men between 15 and 40 ought to be given additional screening at the airport, right?

Back to the OP. What verses are printed? Im not a Tactical guy so I never really looked at those types of units.

Well, the verses may be about light . . .

. . . but this thread seems to be more about heat.
