Would someone please tell me what your TriStar Upland Hunter EX Silver II
( Kral ) 12 gauge weighs unloaded with both choke tubes in. One site has them at 6.4 pounds, another at 6.6 pounds, and several at 8.8 pounds ! I'm hoping the latter is with box, all 5 tubes & wrench. I'm considering one for occasional clay and 5 miles + a day upland use. Also, your overall thoughts on it, has it been trouble free, etc ? I thank you in advance.

Fellows that shoot with me have had mixed success with their TriStar O/U shotguns. The guns seem hit and miss. I will see them shoot a lot and never have an issue. The next guy will have problems with his TriStar. I don't know the reasons for the failures, but it seems TriStar takes care of it. In contrast, the TriStar G2 semi auto shotguns made by Armsan seem to perform flawlessly. At least these observations are what I see at the trap and sporting clay range.
