My son has a Weaterby Vanguard 30.06 with a terrible trigger. He says it's got at least 1/8" take up that feels like sandpaper scraping against corragated steel. It affects his accuracy as he's never sure when it will go BANG!
(NOTE: He was a scout sniper in the USMC and went through their sniper school and helped teach marksmanship. You DON'T want to stand in front of him!)
He's ordered a Timmny drop in trigger so that will probably solve the problem.
But we're wondering if anyone else has had a probem with Weatherby triggers? Is this a problem with just his rifle or something across all Weatherby triggers?
