the "flinch Response" is common knowledge mostly done by novice shooters.. Or leftists...

I agree with post #49 thats how I taught my daughters to help them overcome the flinch response.
But just being familiar with firearms in general is the best way IMO.

The reputition and click, mixed with teaching them to take down thier own gun builds confidence, and that alone I feel helps to kill the flinch response.

'Till I started using the distal joint, not the pad, couldn't hit squat.

Despite what the dogmatic experts espouse, its your gun in your hand and you need to practice enough to figure out what works best for you. I have guns that need the pad, other that need the joint and others where it doesn't seem to matter -- these are the ones I prefer to carry.

Bullseye shooting, and Smith triggers that I could will to break, have made it hard to adjust to different triggers.
Like to shoot SIG triggers, because you roll them thru', much like a double action revolver.
BTW, Wally, like your post, and love your sig about no ethnicity question on an NRA form. In a long discussion with a gentleman of color, and a HS classmate, I pointed out that the NRA was a Civil Rights organization at its start, protecting the gun rights of southern Blacks.
