hey guys iam trying to find out the value of a colt 1911 that i have would like to know a little history also .it is nicle plated colt goverment modle. on the other side it says colts mkseries 70 i do know it came from colt nicle plated and have the original grips and box it came in i will try to post pics asap thx matt

thx sir i would guess 600.00 is a good buy. this is the first 45 cal 1911 that i have ever owned i havent shot the ol gal yet but i cant wait .was told if i bought it to keep it. so iam going to use it as a home defence only type weapon. i have a 9mm glock and a smith and wesson 9mm this pistol feels like a hole diffrent animal in my hands thx again,matt
