Need it for casual target shooting out ot 200 yards. And for hunting out to 200 yards.

Gun is light to carry, I want to pair it with something light and sturdy in 2-7 power.

This one looks good to me:
http://www.leupold.com/hunting-shoo...ralight-riflescopes/vx-2-ultralight-2-7x28mm/

However, will it handle 7.62x39 recoil?

Another option is
http://www.leupold.com/hunting-shooting/scopes/vx-1-riflescopes/vx-1-2-7x33mm/

However, I don't get it. Is it typo on website? Actual magnification 3.2x8.8 ??

Is there other brands that will offer similar features/parameters but more affordable?

It's a quick little gun so I want light and quick scope good for hunting deer/hog out to 200 yards (usually closer)

The 2-7x28 will handle the recoil.
The magnification on the 2-7x33 is wrong. That's the magnification for the 3-9X40.
Burris 2-7 and Vortex Diamondback 2-7 are two more to consider.
The Burris is less than $150.

Will I notice performance difference between 28 and 33mm in Leupold? I'd like to have good dusk performance if possible..

I recently yanked a 2-7 Burris Fullfield II off one rifle, and put it on another.
Hard to beat this quality for that kinda money, but these days, there are a lot of solid options for pretty reasonable bucks, it's hard to go wrong as long as you don't skimp too much.
I have a CZ527 in .223, and have a 3-9 Bushnell Elite 4200 on it that I'm really happy with (had a few Bushnell elites, great scopes for the money). I'd also look hard at the Japanese-made Weavers.

Redfield is a lower cost line by Leupold . They make a 2-7 that is reasonable. I have one and like it a lot. The 7.62 x39 has very low recoil. And Leupold makes some of the best scopes you can buy. Recoil will be no problem.

I have 2 527s in 7.62x39 and have a Nikon 3-9 power on both and they'll easily handle the recoil.
The 7.62x39 527s are a blast to shoot. Of the 2 I have one will be for jacketed, the other cast bullets.

There are some compromises with the 2-7x28. Small objective, short eye relief, short parallax setting.
For the same money you could look at the VX2 2-7x33, the Nikon Monarch 2-8x32, and the Weaver Grand Slam 2-8X36.

I would rather have the weaver grand slam, vortex diamondback HP or Nikon monarch 3 in that magnification range and similar objective size than either of those two leupold lines you listed.

Honestly, for a CZ527 carbine in 7.62x39, I'd opt for something like the Weaver Super Slam Euro in 1.5-6x magnification. Or even a 1-4x, to reduce size and weight. These have enough magnification for the range in question. You'll also be able to use lower rings, which will help with cheek weld on the carbine stock.

Little bit too rich for me :) But, besides price - I noticed they specify eye releif at 4 inch. With short stock I'm not even sure it will be comfortable to shoot.

I forgot to mention one other and even though I have never owned one,i am convinced they are high quality and true value for what you get. entirely made in Japan from a company that makes other high quality optical gear and has an unconditional lifetime warranty.

Vixen 2-8x32. the specs say length=9.85,weight=11.28 oz..

they make high quality telescopes,binoculars,etc.. they have a series of rifle scopes.

one look at how and what type of specs they give on their scopes should tell you how much of a serious company and attention to quality they give.

specs can be found on vixensportsoptics.com.

best price I've seen is at opticscamp.com for $284 on sale. I have never bought from that company though so can't speak towards CS.

I have a cheap Tasco Bantam 2.5x20 on mine. I wanted something small and light. For $30 it has held zero and I have taken 2 deer with it. Optic quality isn't the best. It is bright and clear but has a little fish eye to it.

Just try before you buy if you can, because often the bolt handle wont clear the scope with the stock CZ rings. You can buy higher rings or mill the bolt handle down a little.
