Last Saturday's show was great, as usual. Waiting for the Tulsa Gun Show is like a 12year old waiting for Christmas. Whatever you are looking for can be found there and even things you never knew about. Some of the best tables are the military displays.
I was able to pick up a set of PVS-14s from a vendor for $3000, $200 less than any other dealer or internet ad. Brand new with data sheet and 2 year warrenty. Best of all no tax or shipping.
Also picked up a PRI flipup front sight gas block, Magpul PRS, 2 six pos buttstocks, Harris bipod w/AR mount, 6pos AR/870 stock, TDI Arms add-on Berreta rail and several other items on the cheap.
A couple items of interest were the Magpul PMAG and a aftermarket 50 round HK drum. The PMAG is great, I only puchaced one to tryout.(Memory of the crappy Thermold mags still hangs around) My only regreat is not buying at least a dozen.
The after market HK 50 round drum was at a table from Allied Armament(503 543-5154). I had seen pictures of the factory drum and it looked just like it. The spokesman said HK did'nt patent the drum so he reverse-enginnered one he bought for $3000. They were priced $225 or $255 with mag pouch. I was running low on money or would have bought one. Called thier number but they said its a two week turnaround.
I've been trying to sneak up on cows with my new nightvison for the last few days so I'm sorry for the late report.
