A brand new training facility has recently opened in the Tulsa, OK. area.
Now I know absolutely nothing about the place other than what is on the website.

http://www.usshootingacademy.com/index.html

Does anyone know about this place? been there done that? and are the prices listed what one would expect from a facility such as they are advertising?

Looks very interesting and its close to home.

I've shot several IPSC and IDPA matches there. It is open, though there is still lots of construction to do. The IPSC nationals were there last year, and the 3 gun nationals will be there this year. There is a huge number of bays. It is going to be one of the best facilities in the nation if its promise is fulfilled.

I have not taken a class there, but I have met or shot with the instructors listed, who are all first class guys.

By the way, it's 96 degrees in Tulsa today. Ask Tiger. But October is very nice.

Thanks fellow Another Okie. I've been kind of watching the place fro a while and hope to take a course later this fall. I'm less than an hour away so the place might get a lot of business from me if they are any good.

RoadkingLarry, Sept 1&2 Mathew Mink is teaching a pistol class at USSA. He is a world class IPSC shooter. I think the class is $400.00, round count is over 1500. You can find out more on their web site www.United States Shooting Academy.com or e-mailing Kelly Raglin from that site. Last I heard that class was not full.

Looks awesome! Also looks very expensive to operate. Hope there's enough business out there to keep it running.

Without getting into a lot of details, the guy behind it is well-off, and as long as he doesn't lose interest it will be fine.

The video of the facilities on their site is awesome. I look forward to taking some classes from them as well!
