Not a Hollywood movie, but an episode of the 1978-79 mini series, "Centennial", from the book of the same title by James Michener, featured a number of handguns. The episode "The Longhorns" (episode #6) starred Dennis Weaver as Mr Poteet, the trail boss.
In the shootout with the Indians, "Reb" of course, brought out his LeMat revolver, probably an original back in '78. I believe I saw Colt & Remington C&B revolvers, and if my memory serves me right, a Starr single action .44 revolver, also a likely original.
I couldn't find episode 6 on YouTube last night, the other episodes appeared to be there. If you have another venue besides YouTube, check out the "firefight" in episode six, "The Longhorns". Gosh, that was forty years ago. Dang, how time flies.
