My wife Becky has a sweet Colt M1991A1 customized with a Long Trigger, Beaver Tail Grip Safety, Rosewood grips & long Thumb Safety.
It is pretty tight, not too tight but compared to even some 1911's I've seen in Gander Mountain by Springfield & RIA it's tight.
We use Golden Sabers in it for her defence load & it eats them like candy & is IMHO very accurate, some may have seen my pictures I posted of Becky shooting her pistol & her double taps are very good conciddering that she hasn't picked up her pistol in a year.

Now mine.
Colt M1911A1 U.S.Army. manufactured in 1942.
Previous owner reblued it sometime in the 80's & the only thing I've done to it was replaced the springs from Wilson Combat in 1993 & replaced the grips to wood.
Now this pistol is not only a old warrior that still shoots but she still shoots fairly well for a very loose pistol, when I say loose I mean when you shake it, she rattles.
I bought it originally as my HD & maybe SD weapon when I turned 21 & thankfully I've never needed to use it in that role but have shot it in many types of conditions.

What do y'all think?
