I was at an estate sale last week and I spotted this little pistol. I don't know much about this model and I don't shoot .32acp, but for $150 I figured I couldn't loose.

After I bought it, they asked me if I wanted another gun for free "but it's broken". Hey I will always take free guns. Turns out the slide was locked back on an empty magazine. I pointed out that it wasn't broken, but they insisted I take it anyway. Umm, okay, if you insist.

It's marked as being a FEG 74, but actually it was made in Romania as the Carpati M95. It is sort of a copy of a PPK. Another gun in .32, so it looks like I am going to have to get some ammo and try them out.

Nice score! I have a CZ70. It is a good little piece. I expect that you'll enjoy it. :)

You did well. I just sold my CZ50, which wasn't in nearly as nice a condition as your 70 (which is just the newer version of the 50) for $250.00. And I didn't throw in a free extra pistol! Good score, that Romanian looks very interesting and in brand new condition.

Looks like a "win" to me.

Even if you end up not being pleased with them - they may make great trade fodder or working capital at the Crossroads show up there in order to get something else.

Todd.

This kind of stuff NEVER happens to me. Two guns for $150.

Even thought 32ACP isn't my cup of tea, I would take that deal.

You must be living right!

Pointing out that the second pistol was not 'broken' appears to show that you are.

Congratulations on a great deal.

Plus a box and extra mag. You did great!

Take a look at what replacement magazines are selling for.

I bought the same CZ surplus a couple years ago. Not a scratch on it and looks like it was fired very little. I should check my records. I'm sure it was north of $200. Yes I am the guy who never stumbles into such deals.

I have a CZ70 as well, and you did good. :)

The DA trigger on mine is very heavy, and requires two fingers to pull. SA is actually very nice. The gun is a soft shooter, mostly due to its weight I think. Its accurate too.

Dont be surprised if you have feeding issues with the original mags. Its a common thing, and easily fixed. The mag springs on all of them Ive seen have been the issue (even with the "new" spares I found at Marstar, when I first got mine). Luckily, Wolff sells replacements for a reasonable price and fixes the problem right up.
