i was prepping some 30.06 cases for a friend of mine and pushed the top off of my little LEE reloader press... i called LEE and the lady i talked to said to send the broken part off the press and for $7 plus tax and $4 shipping they would send me a new press body... so i sent them the piece and a $15 cashier's check.... i like my little LEE reloader press and wanted to get it up and going again... anyhow yesterday i got a box in the mail from LEE with the new cast press body in it and the check back!! so good of them to stand behind their customer that way.... i really wasn't all that surprised to get my money back as i've done business with them before and the company is a stand up outfit... i knew i was working the little press pretty hard with the full lenth resizing of the 30.06 cases.... last night i went to loading room and rebuilt the press so now i'm ready to go again! THANKS AGAIN TO LEE !!!

The dealings I have had with Lee has always been a pleasure. That is why I have many of their products.

I think the bigger problem here is that your top "popped" off loading a standard rifle cartridge.

so i sent them the piece and a $15 cashier's check....yesterday i got a box in the mail from LEE with the new cast press body in it and the check back!!

I hope you get your money back...

I have always had great service from Lee Precision. Can't say the same for every other manufacturer whose products I own and use. Sometimes it is just the attitude or lack of customer service response that leads me to say this. The essential quality I need in already in the product, but the backup attitude is sometimes lacking and sometimes very good. Lee is without fail positive and timely.

I have 20 year old Lee equipment and Lee has never charged me a dime for parts that fail even after 20 years...Failure rate. Oh maybe once in 10 years. Broke a press arm trying to unstick a .30-06 case lubed with Hornady One Shot...Sent me a new one without question...

I own and use Lee equipment and have come to realize Lee Precision is a very good company. They provide very good equipment at reasonable prices. I love my Lee equipment!:D

Tasco that sounds great. I have never had to use Lee customer service but have heard a lot of positive things. I have a Lee classic turret and think it's a great press. I'm glad you had a positive experience.

I stuck a .223 case in a Lee FL die.

Using OneShot, of course. :banghead:

I could not get that thing out to save my life.

I was only out the postage to send it there.

Lee gets a thumbs up from me.

30.06 on the Lee C press is really stressing that one. I have a Lee C that I use for bullet sizing, and for the cost, is a great little tool. Lee service - OUTSTANDING! I have yet to pay for a single replacement for anything, even some parts that are designed to wear, and that I just flat wore out. Great folks, easy to talk to, never asked for a penny for anything I asked for replacements on. I will keep using them.

Lee is fantastic! Great price and great product! The price is what first attracted me to their stuff, and as i have got deeper into reloading they have proved themself to me!

I like Lee products for what they are. No complaints. Read the accompanying instructions and do further research in setting up their progressive presses. Otherwise, using their products is pretty much straightforward.
