I've been to about every gun shop of my home within a 70 mile radius this is typically what i see

Everywhere has Glocks
Everywhere has Keltecs
Everywhere has Smith and Wesson
Rugers offered at A LOT but not all
CZ's offered at a lot
Kahrs hit n miss,maybe half n half
Sigs seem to be just at bigger stores just as HK

This about how it is in your area?

We tend to have very well stocked shops around here. I cannot think of any local shops that are not well stocked in:

Glock
Smith and Wesson
Kimber
Springfield Armory
Sig Sauer
Beretta

Keltec and Kahr are easy to find, but you need to call ahead to make sure they have what you want. They either sell them by the ton, or they don't hold as many of them in the inventory.

Taurus and Ruger are on the shelves, but not everywhere, and not all the models in the catalog.

Browning and CZ are around, but not in every shop.

HK is hard to find, and I'm noticing this to be an increasing problem. It almost feels like they're going the way of Colt and trying to be an "LE/.Mil" only manufacturer. If so, good riddance. They always wanted you to believe that their polymer framed pistol and stamped sheet metal receiver rifles were better than everyone else's by charging double for them, not by making them better.

CZ is around, but

Around Metro Atlanta I see a lot of Glocks (they are local), Sigs, Rugers, Smiths, HK, Kimber, SA, Kel, Bersa, Para, Walther, Taurus, CZ and Beretta. Of course there is one shop that has it all, and I'll be there a little later today.

Here in Las Vegas,
Everyone has Glocks
Most have Xd's
Most have S&W M&Ps
A lot have Bersa's
Some have Taurus
A few carry Sig
A few H&K's
Only selected models of Ruger, SR9's and that new .380 LCR
Most of the bigger shops have Kimber (at very extravagant prices)
Very few have Walther(except for P22's)
Almost no CZ's (which sucks because I am a CZ fan)

North Georgia area

Pretty much all of them, Beretta, Sig, H&K, S&W, Browning, FN, CZ, Steyr, Glock, Colt, Rock Island Armory (at Gunshow today). We have several great shops in the area and I cannot imagine a manufacturer that is not represented. I know I left out a ton, like Kimber etc, it would just take too much space to post available manufacturers. Went to an Eastman's gunshow today and saw everything, we have more than one in the area as well as some awesome shops like Franklin's of Athens, Schuler's, Oakwood Sportsman's Lodge (range member there), David's Gun Room, and others as well.

Here in Colorado Springs our most popular gun-store has everything. :D

Specialty Sports has a comprehensive model selection from nearly every major handgun manufacturer, IIRC the exceptions being Steyr, Hi-Point, & Kel-Tec.
They specialize in high-end 1911s; having a large inventory of Les Baer, Ed Brown, Nighthawk, Dan Wesson, Kimber, Colt, & Springfields.

But if they don't have the new handgun someone is looking for, more than likely it can be found in their used cases... except for Hi-Points. For some reason I've never seen any for sale there. Specialty also has a huge selection of combat rifles, a couple .50BMG rifles, holsters, and other accessories. I love going in there just to drool. :p

The other dealers in town have a smaller selection, mainly consisting of S&W, Kahr, Glock, Taurus, Sig, & Kel-Tecs. IIRC only DragonArms sells Hi-Points (& ClassIII goodies). But back in Tampa, every store I ever visited had Hi-Points, Cobras, & Ravens, and precious few CZs, Kahrs, and Springfield XDs.

Around here, they tend to run as follows.
Almost everyone has Glocks ( Why is beyond me!), Kimber, Smith & Wesson, High Point, Taurus, Springfield and some Bersas, Kel-Tecs and Cobras. A few carry Sigs and Rock Islands as well as Witness. Of course there is the obligatory surplus Makarovs and FEGs and the occasional CZ and TTs and their clones. Of course this all depends on which store you are in. You can even get lucky sometimes and find a Llama or Star! Very few stores carry Colts, and new Rugers. I fail to see the wisdom of some people.

You don't see CZs here in N. Central Kansas either. HK's are pretty rare, and never offered new. You may have to go from store to store, but everything else is pretty much available, either at the counter, or more often available with order and in-house in a few days.

Here in iowa, not all shops carry smith and wesson...revolvers that is. Most will have a sigma or M&P somewhere in the shop. But smith wheelguns are getting rare in the little shops.

1. glock...for sure
2. probably 1911 variant
3. probably XD
4. probably beretta.

I don't know though. 2 through 4 are little too close to call.

I was browsing the pistol section at our home town gun store today.
Glocks, lot's of em'
Kimbers
XD's
Sringfield 1911's
Taurus
Ruger & SW revolvers.
Of course they are more than happy to order anything you want. Their prices are resonable. It's a good store.
