Hello, came across a for sale ad for a Uberti Paterson NIB for $350. It is the model with teh laoding lever. Thats a pretty good price isn't it? Thanks, Craig

No, terrible price, way to much!!! In fact send me the name and phone number of the seller so I can call him and tell him so.

It's a good price if it's in like new condition. Depending on if it has a loading lever, if it's antique finish and over all condition, it books for a high of $400+ to a low of 200.
NIB with loading lever is 380 for blue finish.

Nobel Sniper, be advised that Uberti has discontinued the Paterson model as it is problematic. I had one and made the mistake of trying to actually shoot it and it would not fire more than 2 rounds before becoming completely fouled. I tried various lubes on the cylinder pin and to no avail. There are others on this forum who have not had this problem with the Paterson, so you have both sides of the issue.
I sent the gun back to Uberti for repair and after several weeks I was told that the gun could not be repaired (at a reasonable cost to them) and that the model was discontinued. They offered a 3rd Model Dragoon as a replacement and this gun works perfectly.

Oh :( I sent the fella a email. Didn't realize they were such a pain in the backside. Maybe I would just be bettr off with another Walker............. but have you tried to find a Walker new in the box lately?? :banghead:

I have a Paterson without the attached loading lever and I will say it's a great gun, but you better be ready to do some tinkering. It has 17 more parts than a Dragoon, 1851, etc. The cylinder pin fouls quickly but I use the vegetable spray PAM as a lube and it just keeps on shooting.
$350 is a great price for a great gun.

I think I am gonna pass on the Paterson......would probably do better with another Walker or even a dragoon anyways. If anyones interested PM me and I will give you a link to it. Craig

I just reread my previous post. I came off a little more negatively than I intended.

While the Patterson can be a PITA to clean and work on, the model with the loading lever isn't any harder to load and shoot than a dragoon, Army, or Navy. I've got two Patersons and have shot one of them. I keep them cause there aren't that many around and they're fun to plink with.

I wouldnt want to use them in CAS matches though

FM

I have two Patersons with out the loading lever. I'm forced to clean after six rounds, so I have not had any real problems. After loading and firing each twice I've had enough, time for the Walker.
