Uberti Stallion Ammo.

I looked at a Uberti Stallion in .38 today. I'm a little confused about the following etching on the barrel: ".38 Colt and .38 S&W". This would lead me to think that .38 Special would not work. If that is the case, it wouldn't be much more economical to shoot this gun than onechambered in .45 Colt. Am I missing something here?

No.

If it says .38 Colt & .38 S&W, then it won't chamber .38 Spl.

Anyway, it must be an early one or something.
The current Uberti Stallion is only chambered in .22 RF or .38 Special.
