Uberti Walker and Colt's Patent?

My early (1965) Walker and my undated Dragoon both have the word Patent followed by the serial number on the cylinder in the panel you mention.

I did not know they made Walker's back in the 60's, that is neat. Who made those?

The Italians have made them since at least then and maybe a bit earlier. In this country, fakes have been made since the first M1847 sold for big money!

There are no makers marks on these pieces but I believe Replica Arms was using either Uberti or ASM to build them.
