Ugly Gun of the Day

Not only ugly but rather perplexing given its .45-70 caliber.

Unless of course you're ever attacked at close quarters by a herd of buffalo.

I was struggling to figure out what purpose this would fill. Tactical buffalo defense does make sense. You can have ammo commonality with your sharps rifle combined with the shear awesomeness of a streetsweeper for CQBB situations. :)

Obviously you can tell as I did that it's a Tactical Close Quarters Battle-Buffalo Sidearm or TCQB-BS.

Perfect for those times when you want to thin the herd...up close and personal.

It definitely needs some brass and chrome trim. Maybe a bit of leather with brass tacks and some watch gears added on to really get the steampunk feel. Otherwise, it's just silly.

Where do you put your support hand when shooting these?

Support hand, for what? We don't need no stinkin support hands..

You can actually hold the bottom of the drum, or use a bag. I wouldn't recommend holding the shroud too close to the drum, or you would get peppered with spatter and powder. The 12 gauge Street Sweeper sometimes had a FW grip on their barrels, but I'd have to register one as an AOW before installing the grip.

The weight is pretty obnoxious, but the really bad part is the 25+ pound trigger on a couple of them. And no, I’m not exaggerating.
