All right post pics of your favorite ugly guns. If you have beaters, battlefield pick-ups or other No S**T rifles please post a pic. I would but I dont know how to post pictures. I like see pics of pretty rifles but I want to see the guns that get the jobs done and dont look like safe queens.

Not so much ugly as FLK (funny looking kid), usually the result of two FLP's (funny looking parents).

Now, my Nagant pistol, that is ugly.

My ugliest by far (what was grandpa thinking? )--Astra 600 mfg. 1945 (fun to shoot for a 9mm though, decent recoil, crappy sights and trigger)


RG industries 22lr--finish looks like thick spraypaint, metal all over is "lumpy" looking, difficult to extract shells, whole thing would probly melt if fired too much too fast .But, it shoots straight for close plinking, and nly cost $10 transfer fee, so.......


And of course, the revolver only Mother Russia could love (fun to plink with, fun for its uniqueness, and its ugliness has grown on me--must be the Russian in me )

If this isn't a work gun I dont know what is:

It had a rail system and a PEQ-2 but B co.'s armorer thinks he's funny and made off with them while I was on leave . My armorer hasn't gotten around to putting new ones on yet. In the meantime I made sure to paint all over the B co. armorer's platic handguards (I dont even know where he got the things, every other rifle in the battalion has rails, even the guys in the soft MOS's).

This is the ugliest Gun ever made.

The correct name for the Liberator Pistol is the "Flare Projector" Caliber .45 (FP-45). During 1942 over a six month period one million pistols were produced. Actual production of the pistol was about 11 weeks. Using that figure, 300 people produced a pistol with 23 parts every 6.6 seconds, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for 11 weeks. This is probably the only pistol that could be made faster than it could be loaded. Loading takes about 10 seconds.

I should add. See that "bar" above the trigger? It's an exernal sear and you can set this thing off by picking it up wrong.

Itty-bitty beater, my grandfather's 1899 Iver Johnson .32. If you cut an inch off the barrel it would be about the size of a P-32.
It looks a lot worse in person and the bore looks like a sewer pipe.

I dont think the Glock is ugly,but this is useless..the pic may even be fake.

This H&K prototype and the French rifle are about as ugly as you can get.

Has to be a fake. The knob covers 50% of the ejection port. The weight of that thing would not allow the weapon to cycle properly, if at all. On the other hand, if it works and has a niche, give 'er hell!

It's not fake, I used to have one. It was a big rust bucket, and I wouldn't have fired it if it was in good condtion, so I got rid of it. I think it was an old Nambu? (Japanese) IIRC.

YES - I fully agree w/ you and your post of the GLOCK 21. IT is nothing to look at, but has performance qualities that can't be duplicated.
