Revolver, meet uglystick.

Bright red. Oi vey! At least you can be assured that no criminal will ever mistake your revolver for a cell phone or other dark, black object. :scrutiny: What I really want to know if who came up with this idea. Jethro: "Well Billybob, I jes' can't move this here Smith." Billybob: "Why'ontcha put red spray paint all over it?"

That particular abomination has been posted on Gunbroker a couple times at least. Really is a "red-headed step-child." No one seems to want the thing.

Ugh. The thought that more than one of these might exist is almost too horrible to bear.

why not buy it and dip it to remove the paint? I'd think about it, but I don't see the sense in buying .38 instead of .357.

One, I don't have $350 free dollars, though I'll gladly take donations to the college-student-without-rich-parents fund. :D
C, I'd have to look at it up close and personal.

That's not paint, that's S&W's new .38 Spc/mp3 player (AAA batteries and USB cable included). It comes with 2 gigs of memory and the headphone goes in the jack in the grip. It was as short lived as its developer, who, took an inspiration from Glock and put the on/off swich on the trigger. After the funeral, they've tried to get rid of the prototype ever since.

I think it would make a fine gift for someone's daughter's boyfriend--you know, the band member who has 20 notches in his lower lip and says the word "Awesome" more than thee times in any five-minute period.

I don't know why any one would buy it. But I know darn good and well why some one would want to sell it Thats just so wrong on so many levels.

I e-mailed them a couple of months ago and offered them a fair price ($200) for the gun but they want way too much for it.

The funny thing is, with all the money they've spent on listing and relisting it, they could have sold it a long time ago and still come out ahead of where they are now.

I told them they were asking too much because it was going to cost ME money to undo their idocy.

I'm not sure they really want to sell that gun.
I think it is just for attention, and to get hits on the site.

Like the goofy costume person waving at cars to get attention for a business.

I know how to market that gun and get it sold.
Just Art's Grammaw will not allow me to post my strategy, still I assure you that gun would get sold.

Can y'all imagine being in court trying to justify a self-defense shooting and THAT revolver being presented in evidence? The media would have quite a field-day!
