UK antigun ad

What the hell?

I'm dumber for having watched that.

That makes no sense whatsoever.

btw - what does the text say? I couldn't make it out. Too blurry on my screen. Maybe that clears some of the confusion up.

Maybe it's a Walther thing? (That was a PPK right?).

gotcha.....

now I'm just more confused. What does that ad have to do with keeping quiet about gun crime?

That ad is about people not being able to mentally handle the responsibility of firearms, or some weird statement about humans just not being mentally stable... or something like that.

I highly doubt that there has been a crime that went down in that fashion. A happy family and friends just enjoying a morning, when a gun is found by the wife and immediately upon touching it she goes totally insane killing her children intentionally...........

and then to make it even dumber, everybody just sits there and cries.

If I'm having a nice morning and somebody's wife comes in shooting..... well, not to sound stupid, but "Bitch is goin' down". I'm not going to sit there quietly and......

..... oh.... wait...... NOW I get the part about staying quiet about gun crime.

still.... dumb ad though. I had to start writing about it before I figured it out. Too much thinking involved. I'm not used to thinking when it comes to anti-gun ads.... most of them aren't intended for logical thought processes to follow.

Because every parent who has access to a gun will randomly decide to calmly walk out, pick it up, walk back and then blow one of their kids brains out. Happens all the time, right?

It'd be frigging pathetic if not for the fact that stuff like that was apparently responsible for disarming an entire nation.

Not an entire nation, just the proles of an entire nation.

Technically that commercial is as much justficiation for installing microphones in every house and randomly searching all of them - because these people are keeping quiet about gun crime. The solution is to turn their cells once in a whiel - err, houses, yea houses.

The idea of the video (I think I get it) is that the men in the family were talking about 'gun crime' e.g. carrying guns. The mother was overhearing this but did not tell anyone about it. We then see her shoot her family, because 'not telling is like pulling the trigger yourself'.

On the one hand, I agree that if someone has been killing people or is going to kill people or something, then definitely tell the police. On the other hand, if they just own or carry a gun, the police shouldn't even care, let alone be told about it.

Same ****, different name.

Hey, it's an ANTI-GUN commercial. And a British one to boot. The Brits on average have a perception of guns based upon a set of false assumptions based upon ignorance. Not all of them, but most.

Especially the British media, and Liberal Establishment.

Buggy....

TheEconomist said,

Have to agree, If that made sense as a television ad to anyone, the inmates are indeed running the asylum.

The devil is truly busy. That was as dumb as a bag of hammers...peace out.

If you notice that that video is aimed at a certain type of person, primarily a black, hoodies from working-class backgrounds and not white british youths.Although some have carried guns.

The shootings and massacres, involving the use of legally-held weapons, were held in the areas that you would least expect. Those whackos that committed the worst examples of these, occured out in small country towns, typical of the
British greenbelt. The type of locations that you would see in Inspector Morse,Miss Marple and in Midsomer Murders.

Those who committed those awful massacres, were men who had regular jobs and paid their way in society, earning an honest income.

Middle-class people or lower-middle class people, are primarily the majority of target-shooters in the UK.

Would those types of punks go to the extent of allowing the cops to screen them for background checks and inspection of their premises? I think not.

Also they could rob gun stores, but the cops would eventually get them, dead or alive.

Wow. That made absolutely NO sense at all. She killed him simply because the gun was there? It must have been a magical voodoo-possessed gun or something, because I have a loaded gun in the house all the time and I've never gotten the sudden urge to shoot someone.

that is pathetic

it looks like a mom decides to kill her (what looks like) 8 year old kid at the breakfast table

and then breaks down in tears after she kills the kid

ETA: It has been said before... guns DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT Kill people - and that video is proof. The gun was just laying there, the woman picked-up the gun, pointed the gun, pulled the trigger.

Unfortunately the socialist/liberals are like "well if she didn't have a gun she couldn't have killed the kid". Typical emotional propaganda.

I caught the meaning even before the explanation but it still is a ridiculous ad. What the viewers will actually see, is that the gun made her do it, therefore the guns are bad.

Clear terms of service violation. It's racist (while containing hardly any truth at the same time) and it depicts graphic violence.

YOUTUBE will remove it if enough people flag it. It's not miles over the line of violating their terms of service, but it's still a violation so it doesn't matter.

Racist ad. I dont like the implication that black people become bloodthirsty automatons when you give them a firearm. Of course if they showed white people, most british would immediately see that the ad was ridiculous.

The british will never admit to being racists. Honesty is an american failing.

hmmm

ok, so, um, ***?

The best i get out of it, is ignoring firearms and shooting innocents are the same thing.

So....... since i know of a whole safe full of firearms, I am guilty of every felony in a 40 mile range?

sssdd (same stupid ****, different day)
