Hi, everyone

Just got a second hand Competitor in 357 Max, us poor sods in the UK have to have a pistol that is 60 cm long. I was wondering if any UK shooters use this calibre? If so could they tell me what Powders etc that they are using? Again another quirky thing, the UK seems not to have a full selection of Powders for pistols!

Thanks
Joe

P.s

I'm not allowed to leave the range till everyone has tried the Competitor; the other night there were 4 long barred pistols all in a line - so nice to see :)

In my Max I am shooting mostly 4227. I don't know what a competitor is so please elaborate.

If it is a short cylinder like the ruger Max's stay away from ball powders and light bullets. They tend to cause grief with the top strap.

If it is more like a contender, then ball powders are fine. Try h110 or AA9.
