I've been using the ultrasonic with great results using 1 part vinegar : 4 parts waters with a tablespoon of dish soap. I then set the cleaner for about 4 cycles of 8 minutes each.

I'm Curious what others have tried and if there are other home brew recipes for cleaning that might be better?

Would oxi-clean work? I'm always tinkering and looking for the next best way to do the case prep steps/cleaning/other details that make reloading better.

Thats very similar to my solution.

I use it hot, for 2 cycles of 360 seconds each, and then a cold water clearing cycle.

Don't use my ultra much anymore- but I'm not loading precision rifle much these days, too many handguns to feed !

Hot water from the tap, a bit of dish soap and half a teaspoon of powdered citric acid, and two or three 480 seconds cycles. Then rinse in cold water and dry on a towel or with a heat gun, depending on whether I wanna use them straight away or I'm in no hurry. If I want them really shiny they go into the tumbler with corn cob and a metal cleaning solution for a hour and they look like factory ammo.
