Maybe I am shopping at the wrong places but where are you guys buying NIB CZ 75B for under $450 OTD

Rellascout,
Id like to know too.

I didnt know the FNH were made here in VA. Thats pretty cool.

The kadet kit fits the 85 series also.(according to the website)

no question in my mind.

FNP-9 or FNP-40

Incredible gun, that can be had for under his price limit.

I can remember the days of $350 NIB CZs but no more. The best prices I can find these days are $425+ shipping.

New Ruger P95 or a new or pre-owned Smith & Wesson 3rd generation (5903, 5906, 6906, etc.)

I have both, and they fit the bill for what you're describing.

Back in January, I got the Ruger NIB, with a 3rd magazine, shipping, transfer fee, everything.............$ 281 from CDNN. This will fit your buddy's price tag with money left for a thousand rounds of 9mm FMJ.

As for CDNN, I've had a good experience with them. As have many others on here. :D

I'm not familiar with the FNP-9.
How long is the barrel?

I'm recommending at least 4" and preferrably more for targets, steel and double tap work.

Thanks again for the responses.

rellascout I get a ret mil discount at Sportsman's Warehouse and can't get below $450.
The 9mm SPO1 might fit my budget though!

Where Echo?

I would like to echo the couple of questions about where I can get a CZ 75B for $450, OTD. Where?

I'm not disputing anyone, I just really want to know where. Anyplace in NC?

Bersa 9mm HC

I may be mistaken by I have not seen one mention of the Bersa 9mm High Capacity. I bought one at the local gun show for $309 and it is the most accurate range gun I own. Most people think that, since it is not expensive, it must not be worth much. Very Japanese thinking. My experience is that it is an exceedingly good gun for the price. Google problems with this pistol and you will find zilch!

Hi-Point C9. $155 MSRP NIB, though I have found them cheaper. Nothing fancy about them, but they do throw the lead down range.

No CDNN took delivery less than a week ago after shooting several. They are contract guns but are identical in every way to the commerical ones. Come with box, manual and 3 mags.

I'm going to vote for the Stoeger Cougar(Beretta) because of the rotating barrel, which is boringly accurate like the Beretta Px4.

Tri-State in Moscow ID had a CZ 75B for around $450 and the guys behind
the counter apologized they had a corporate policy of no transfers to
Out of state Rez, and I live 8 miles away, CPL holder in WA state....

oh well, I paid more but gave my local gunsmith/dealer a few bucks extra
so screw Tri-State.

Third generation, excellent reputation for durability, reliability, and very accurate..

Amen to that. Third Gen Smiths (and some second Gen like the 645) can be had for a song right now either new or as police trade-ins. They are rock solid, and surprisingly accurate. They are way, way underrated and mostly unconsidered by shooters who are dazzled by all of the new bells and whistles currently being offered on today's flavor of the month "they'd put a rail on their grandmother if the could" techno-poppers. These guns get back to basics and get it done. I like new and improved also, but Smith got it right almost 20 years ago, and further back than that when you consider the Models 39 and 59.

I second the Hi Point. If it's just going to be a range gun and not for defense or CCW, then it'd do just fine. Your buddy would then have plenty of money left over for ammo and whatever other little goodies he wants.

I've often thought about an inexpensive 9mm for casual range time, but I would think that a box full of magazines would be a nice thing to have too.

Of the many pistols mentioned in this thread, which have inexpensive, reliable, readily available magazines?
