It can shoot, but it wont cycle. If there is any air in the gun it could be dangerous.

That things got to be so inaccurate and have such a limit of use that I don't think anyone would ever use it. Divers would be better using a cheap spear gun which doesn't release a massive could of bubbles and a create a shock wave that would probably hurt like...well you get it...every time you shot it.

Also, I doubt a normal AK can shoot reliably under water. I am certain the first shot would work but the water pressure would dampen the ability to eject spent shells and would probably "stove pipe" on the second shot. Also the shock wave associated with being in the water while shooting it would probably rupture both your ear drums when you shot it...basically bad news for the shooter and limited distance for the bullet (25 yards at absolute most?)

aww crap. I read posts 4 and 5 and became furious because I relate the posts immediately to the topic, which was the APS underwater rifle. I think I'm becoming a gun snob or something.
