One of my favorites was a Speer 220 gr JSWC over 8 grains of Unique in a Remington case with Remington 2 1/2 primer. Sadly, Speer doesn't offer these bullets anymore, so I'll probably switch to a similar load with a hollow point bullet.
Another favorite has been a Speer 240 gr SP over 10 grains of Unique...sort of a mid-range load. Very pleasant to shoot out of a Marlin 1894 or a flat-top Blackhawk.
These loads were worked up with old Unique. I'll have to back off a bit when I start on the new, cleaner-burning Unique - it's a little hotter.
One other thing about Unique powder - its shelf life rivals that of the container it came in. It's very stable stuff.
