Took out my newest addition to the range today for it's maiden voyage. It's a Finn M39, 1942, unissued B-barrel, with a new bore.

Used my old standby, surplus Hungarian heavy steelcore, of which I have an ample supply. :)

Fired five or six 5 shot groups @ 100 yards to see if any adjustment to windage was needed. It did and I bumped front sight right a hair to to line up the vertical.

With this ammo it shoots high, but then so does my Sako M39. With 203gr stuff the Sako hits POA, which I assume will be the same for this rifle.

Anyway, it is a new barrel so it'll probobly be a bit before it settles down and does nice groups. Todays bunch were in the 3 to 5" range. Good enough to ring gongs at both 200 yards (11" gong) and 300 yards (19" gong).

Here are some pics of the rifle and the best 100 yard 5 shot group of the the day. It was the last group of the day too. Check out three of the 5 shots. They are within 1/2" inch! :D The other two expanded it to an overall 2 7/8". Still the best bunch of the day.

What a great looking stock on her.
I shoot my M39 more then any other gun I own(long gun).
The reason is she is a tack driver!!! Looks like yours is as well.
