A little intro:
-I found out today that the club I've been trying to start as an intramural sports club has been approved by the University.

I am so happy!!! They lost my first copy of all my paperwork, my first advisor took all my important papers after promising to be our advisor, and then went MIA on us. Things have finally come together and right now we have team members competing in Trap and we're starting to practice with the local Practical Shooters Assoc. Support for us has been overwhelmingly positive, party because we are the only shooting club created specifically for students. Now that we have official University club status, we can go looking for donations!

On the other hand, I think I've just opened up a huge can o' worms here, I've been busy three nights in a row this week for "club activities" (trap shooting, pistol shooting, and a meeting tonight). It is very rewarding to have all of my hard work pay off finally after almost 6 months of what seemed like setbacks.

So, uhh why I am posting this? Only reason I can think of is that I just have to tell people how excited I am! That is all.
:D :D :D

OUTSTANDING! IIRC Missoula used to have a great indoor/outdoor range for smallbore in East Missoula. I have heard they have a great Highpower range as well. Might talk to Dan Lilja up in Plains, he might be able to help and spread the word. As one of the better known barrel makers, he has some connections.

They still got a smallbore team in Bozeman? Shot an NCAA sectional there one year and had a great time. I think that was the third one we did, and after BYU Army ROTC pulled the plug on the team. We wuz a club that year.

Edit to add my whole point: CONGRATULATIONS! Don't forget to tell the school journalism students/staff that they can now localize firearms-related stories by contacting your Prez.
