No disrespectbut there have been hundreds ofposts like this in the past and I'm sure another one will pop up tomorrow and the day after...etc.

forget buying if I had unlimited funds I would get the proper licensing to become a builder and get some fun tools to build some fun toys

but on the short list I would buy a place to live in Arizona and get some fun NFA stuff I cant have here in Delaware

The big problem with most of these threads, i.e. "what would you get in X scenario" or "what would you get with these limitations" is that I generally see little discussion, at least in the first couple pages. You just get a bunch of people answering the question in the OP and then moving on.

Gee, if I wasn't financially limited? Off the top of my head it would be -

BHP Renaissance, Al alloy BHP, Cylinder and Slide Al alloy BHP

Finnish contract BHP, Suomi M31, Lahti Anti-Material Rifle, SA marked SVT-39 and -40 rifles

Wells Fargo shotgun and lever gun, historic Sharps, perhaps an original Colt or S&W Russian or ...

NFA assortment including the historic Thompson, M3 Grease Gun, Reising, Schmeisser, Sten, Sterling, PPD, PPsh, MAB M938 followed by some classic and odd full auto and DDs.

Shouldn't come to more than a few hundred.;)

A Long Tom 155 to pull behind my Deuce and a half.

Now, if we make money AND legality of ownership a non-issue, I'll take a GAU-8 Avenger and the A-10 attached to it.

Folks,

We have new people coming to THR all the time. Not all of them have had the pleasure of participating in discussions that we've been in enough to become "bored" by them.

Let them have their time and we'll sit in our rocking chairs and grumble about "those darn kids" instead of shouting at them to "quieten down".

Well, you gotta admit, it's kind of a "Duh," question...if money were no object, I'd buy anything I darn well pleased.

If money were no object, and it so pleased me, I'd buy the USS Iowa and have a couple thousand guys on board running gun drills 24/7 as it sailed round and round my private island.

Oh, and don't forget the newest, state of the art fighter jets and the crews to maintain and fly them.

And ICBM's. There MUST be ICBM's!

Okay, back to Earth now.

Perhaps is the question were phrased differently, you would get more serious responses, e.g.:

If money were no object, which handgun(s) and/or rifle(s) would you buy?

But, then, it's YOUR question...until it's amended, I stick by my original answer.

I'd lobby and campaign for the removal of GCA 68 and FOPA 86 and VCCA 94. Then, I'd get all the guns I want, like AN-94, Tuvor, REC-7, QBZ-95, and anything else I can think of.

if money was no concern what would you get and do to it

If the money was no concern, why would you have to do anything to it? It should already come as you want

Look at Peter Hofer and Philip Ollendorf for truly classic custom guns

once again, I find that I am thinking small....

There I was, thinking of an F-16...and then I read this...
Montana; and I’d put a fence around it.
Now that's a guy who knows how to think big.
Is there an F-16 base in Montana? Don't think so...so how about this?
Alaska, and I'd put a fence around it.
I know they have a bunch of F-15s at Elmendorf. Close enough. :)

If money were no object? To hunt down and buy one of the hand made Lugers Georg brought over for our inspection, in .45 ACP. One of the rarest firearms ever made. I believe there was only 2 made.
