I have some brass primed but not loaded. I used magnum primers and now realized I didn't want to do that. Can you unprime them? I know there is some way, but running them through the deprimer on my press doesn't sound to safe. Thanks

Assuming you can't just save them for a rainy day and use different brass, the safest way is to put them in your gun and fire them then deprime them as usual.

If it were me, there is no reason I wouldn't just go ahead and use the magnum primers. A little less powder and you're good to go.

I have unprimed probably more than one hundred live primers without a problem. Never had one go off. Take things slow and wear your safety glasses. Or if you're concerned, do as Mal suggested and fire them first. You won't be able to save them anyway.

Ok, I'll just use them. Its for a Garand, and I am not gonna max out the charge. That would take a while to pop every one. Thanks
