Ok people, I know this has been done from time to time, but judging from doing a search, it's time for an update.

Winter vacations are coming, plus those of us in the colder climates may be staying in more for the winter---need reading material!

I just picked up "A World Lit Only by Fire". Non-fiction work dealing with the "Dark Ages". Sometimes I wonder if we're heading for another of those. Anyway. . .

Now that's not so "gun related", however, I will recommend a book that is: "Misfire" by William Hallahan.

This book recounts the misadventures of the Springfield Armory (the government one, not the commercial enterprise) in developing (or not developing) military arms. Very interesting book, although I know many here will disagree with his chapter on the M-16 (and probably other chapters as well--this being THR, there's plenty of opinions).

So what are some other books you would recommend, are reading now, or have recently read? My library card is in my hand and ready to go. . .
