I just got my drywall finished in in reloading room and have the upper cabinets hung. I just finished my plans for the rest of the base cabinets and counter tops which I plan to cover with the same linoleum as I plan to put on the floor. I want to move to of my Dillon RL 550 presses and a few more changes and change my lighting around and I should have it about the way I want it. I had it set up before but Dad bought Mon new kitchen cabinets and I got to old cabinets which fit really nice. Makes a nice 12 by 20 reloading and gun cleaning room in my basement.. Wish me luck.

I just finished the paining today and went and ordered the linoleum for the floor and the counter tops this morning. Next I need to get the underlayment down and the cabinet bases set. I will post some pictures once I get it finished.

Wow, that really makes me miss my old home on New Mexico, I had such a nice set up. I mean I can't complain right now, but it's not exactly what I would have, if I had more space.

Good luck with your project, it's always nice to have a spacious and organized work area.

I hope your plans work out well for you, it's always nice to have a spacious and organized work area.

I wish I had the room for a bit nicer lay out, but we got a do, what we got a do sometimes.

Formica for counter tops

Formica works much better for counter tops. You can get scrap formica cheep if you do not care what color.

I'll second the formica suggestion. When I built my bench I chose that material for the top, then drilled holes to install my LCT. It makes for an easy cleaning, smooth and pleasant surface. I can clean my guns on it and it just needs a wipe with some home cleaning, supermarket available product, and done. Also, if you happen to spill powder or tumbling media on it, it's easy to remove it.

I have Formica on my cleaning station and thought that the linoleum might serve well for my reloading bench top to basically dress it up and would be lower cost to install. I had planned on adding a trim board on the face to dress it up. Has anyone else use linoleum on there reloading bench top?
