UpLula™ and Lula® Mag Loaders --- is it any good?

I've used the regular LULAs on ARs and FALs, and the UPLULA on 1911 mags and Beretta 9mm mags.

Always worked fine for me.

I have an UpLula, and while it is not substantially faster than loading by hand, it will save you from some sore thumbs if you are taking a shooting class and loading mags all day long.

i love my UpLULA.... without it, i can barely get 10 rounds into my SR9 mags... with it, i can load even #17 with ease... and after loading 200+ rounds its a hell of a sore thumb saver

Ditto what Telperion said. Just got one last week for my 9mm and .40. It's not tremendously faster than by hand, but really saves your thumbs and makes getting that last round or two in easier.

UpLula a little pricey, but can use on many different calibers, and worth it in long run. Can load on average one round/sec. or even faster.

The LULA AR-15 mag loader if the best $25.00 I ever spent on a firearms accessory! My boss has the UPLOADER and loves it. It is next on my list.

Good investment. I've had trouble loading 380 and 9x18 rounds into mags. One UpLula will load most single-stacks and almost all doubles. A round a second, maybe a touch less. Certainly a thumb-saver for new springs.

The UpLULA does two things well. It saves your thumbs from fatigue, and it's really fast. The only limit to its speed is your ability to pick up a round and get it in place.
