There's a batch of AK clones with what are supposedly US made receivers from an outfit called "Eubanks." Anyone know about these? They have fairly nice furniture by AK standards and a mix of TAPCO and Romanian parts.
Also since this gun is made on a Ewbank receiver it has a five year warranty. Do you know anyone that will give you that kind of warranty on the cheap wasr rifles going around I don't think so.
Joeken is directly affiliated with ewbanks. I think the 'ken' in joeken is ken ewbanks. Could be wrong, but its something like that. They've confirmed this (well, people got all the business info and they eventually admitted to it) in a huge train wreck of a thread on ak47.net. So it isnt really joeken by name, but it is.I can still find very little information about who's putting them together. They feel quite solid. Joeken appears to be selling the original Romanian rifles, but I think these are different. Besides there's no joeken mark on them.
