The land of the Alamo!
I've ended up with a handful of .45 bullets that were touted as being 185 grain SWC. Upon weighing them, they are all 188 to 190 grain. I can't find a recipe for those. Would it be OK to use the data that I've been using for 200 gr SWC and cut the powder back a tenth of a grain or two? Thanks!

Cast bullets I'd guess?
It's pretty normal for them not to weight what they are supposed to weigh due to different lead alloy mix.

It would be O.K. to use the same powder charge you are using with the 200 SWC.

No need to drop back on powder because you already dropped back on bullet weight.

Just make sure that if you're putting together light loads that you've got enough powder to get the ALL bullets ALL the way out of the barrel. A bullet stuck in the barrel from too light a powder charge is not likely to be too entertaining.

You could use the 185-grain powder charges, too.

Cast bullets may go heavy or light depending on the alloy used, and that's why the weight is nominal. What you have is a volumetric measurement of a fluid of which its density varies by composition.
