Used k-9 price check

I found a used Kahr k9, matte stainless steel, two mags (one 7 round and one 8 round extended), with night sites on consignment. Owner is asking 485. It looked to be in good shape. Trigger was very nice.

I bought a brand new one without night sights recently. It ran $479 plus registration. Given that the sights run about another $50 or so from Kahr, I would feel a bit more comfortable if he dropped the price anywhere from $20 to $50, but it isn't too far off.

It all depends where you live.

In my neck of the woods, 25 miles from the factory, that price ain't bad.

You see, they make them in Mass. but we can't buy them in Mass. They say they are too dangerous for us....

I usually see the standard Ks at or around $400 to $450. And most of them don't have night sights. Considering it's on consignment and the shop is probably going to get at least $50 on it (generalization here), the guys actually getting around $430... Sounds about right.
