Used walnut shell recycling ???

I've got a 5 gallon bucket full of used walnut shell. Has anyone got any ideas on
recycling it?????

Used... as in tumbling media?

I would treat it as contaminated and dump it, not reuse it. If you tumble brass that has had lead bullets, the media is likely full of some amount of lead residue, among other stuff. Media is cheap enough... I wouldn't waste my time trying to pinch a penny and reuse it.

Also walnut can be toxic to livestock and dogs.

Used media should be thrown in the trash. It is contaminated with toxic material.
