USFA Zip Gun .22 - Anybody Shot One?

The Davidson USFA Zip Gun looks racy, but is that where it stops? It is supposed to use Ruger 10-22 mags (any of them) , but is sold without a mag. That sounds just plain weird ! I saw some short Youtube videos, but no extended sessions. That makes me think "JAMS!" Anybody have any 1st hand info that has shot one? How well do they work?

I have one. Bought it because I like unusual things.



About the best thing I can say about it is, it's crap.


Among other things it will fire out of battery.

Don't investigate the history of the company. Based on where they have been, and where they are now..... It's a sad story.

I bought one to use as an example of how not to design a product. The concept that the controls require one to place a hand in front of the muzzle is unique in this litigious environment.
