Anybody here own one? I just ordered an Ainsworth this afternoon. It is a replica of the first military Colt SAA's that were inspected at the factory by Orville W. Ainsworth. I wanted a real Colt, but Colt doesn't make anything like this anymore.

I don't own a Colt. They cut the chamber throats .456-.458". I want a revolver that is accurate, not just beautiful.

I have a USFA Rodeo and a USFA SA in 44 Spl. The 44 Spl will be the most similiar to your revolver.

Mine has eye popping case hardening colors, outstanding polish, blueing, and precise metal work. My actions are smooth with crisp triggers. And, it will shoot with the best.

Yours will look old, but it still will be a quality piece.

You are referring to the "Custer Battlefield." Mine is the "Ainsworth" model, which is the same gun but charcoal blued (Armory Blue) and color case hardened.

I'm green with envy, USFA are some of the finest looking SAA's I've ever seen......pictures of, guess we'll never see them over here, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy one they look stunning.
