Very nicely done!:) Well explained and decent photography.

Looks like there's a lot of flex in the mounting system. That lee mounting plate has let go of my classic turret twice now. Yours looks like it is partially slipping out from under those "Z" flanges, get ready to catch the press when it does.
 
Mike, good idea with the plywood, BUT use marine grade plywood, the solid stuff. I'm no wood butcher, so I don't know the proper term for that type of plywood, I just know it's much denser and much stronger. I would also glue & screw that plywood to the existing 1" pine you used. That would stabilize both to make a much stronger assembly.

I got two chunks of that plywood, 24 X 48 X 5/8 inches to build a bench for my dillon 650. Glues and wood screwed together, I could park my car on it without it flexing:scrutiny:.
