Using Moon Clip on S&W Model 25-5

I am purchasing a used S&W Model 25-5 .45 Long Colt. Will I be able to use Wilson Combat .45ACP moon clips on the revolver to be able to shoot .45 ACP rounds in this revolver?

Nope. The thickness of a .45 ACP rim inserted into a moon clip is considerably more than the thickness of the rim of a .45 Colt. I'm sure there is some sort of machining process that will allow what you want to do and someone will be along to explain it.

No way will a moon-clip .45 ACP load fit in a .45 Colt cylinder.
Well, it will fit in it, but you couldn't close it back in the gun.

The moon clips for a rimmed cartridge like the .45 Colt will be considerably thinner, easier to damage and won't hold the rounds as rigidly as a .45 ACP moon clip.
