I bought a box of 500 lead cast Oregon tr 30 cal. FP bullets. I want to use them in my Remington 700. Any issues with doing so?

I have done similar in .308 and .30-06. I've used both a "carbine" style bullet and a 130gr FP "30-30" style bullet. Have fired in a M1917 and a Savage M11. You'll definately want to keep the velocity down low with those over Unique or Trail Boss or similar.

I use the LaserCast 170grn bullets in both my Savage 99's... .30-30 and .308, and they work very well... as long as they are sized for your bore. You didn't mention the cartridge you were loading them for, but in .308, 20grn IMR4198 gives me about 1650fps and reasonable accuracy... although I'm likely to slow them down a bit next time.

I shoot 210 gr. gas checked bullets in 30/06 rifles. I use bullets that are sized .310 and .311, doesn't seem to make much difference. Powder of choice is 2400 but there are other powders that work well.
