I had a USP .45 and it was a nice pistol, the only deal with mine was that it was what they said was a variant 7 which basically meant it was for a left handed shooter safety wise. I dont use a safety so it didnt bother me. I came across a picture of the USP Tactical .45. Loved it! I sold my USP .45 to a friend for what I put in it and made the push for the Tactical. I got the tactical model about 2 weeks after I sold the USP. It was everything I wanted it to be, it was accurate, reliable, and it looked awesome, not to mention it came with the little discreet carrying case which was wicked. I have no regrets over selling the USP so I could get the tactical, I only saw it as an uprade. Now, if your talking carry......I have never carried the Tactical. I prefer my Glock because I am a stupid, under trained, under paid Police Officer (Quote from an old post from an idiot). Either way you go , the Tactical I got set me back about $1200, and I am not a rich fellow, so selling the USP was almost required, but you will be pleased with the weapon's performance. I would tell you to do what you can, if you keep the USP and get the Tactical, will your USP every see the light of day again?
