This Sunday, The Blue Grass Sportsmen’s League http://www.bgslinc.com/index.php is having their monthly USPSA Match.

Ok guys/gals For the November USPSA match at BGSL we are gonna knock 5$ off your entry fee if you bring a toy for the toys for tots drive. We'll also have a collection bucket as well if you would just like to donate. There are those less fortunate that with out the Toys for Tots wouldn't have anything for Christmas so please lets bring something so that all kids can have a merry Christmas!

Also, during the month of November, women shoot any match in the Pits for $5.00. So if you (women) bring a toy to Sunday's USPSA match, you shoot for FREE.

I don't have a round count yet as the crew is still working on the stages but expect around 130-160ish

Match registration will be open from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at the shelter in the pistol pits.

New shooter registration will be open from 8:45 AM until 9:30 AM.

Set up begins at 8:00 AM, we can't setup on Saturday so we need all hands on deck as soon as possible to keep providing great matches for you guys. Remember it's a volunteer sport and we all help!

We go hot at 10:30 AM.

New shooters (to BGSL) must arrive no later than 9:00 AM for the new shooter check.

Match fee is $20.00. BGSL members shoot for $15.00. Junior shooters (17 and under) shoot for $10.00 with a paid adult.

As always, we welcome new shooters and spectators. Bring ear and eye protection.

You can always view our complete schedule here http://bgslinc.com/w...endar/month.php

I really couldn't say. The new shooter check is very simple. You draw and shoot three shots while moving forward, then three shoots while moving backwards. Your not graded on time or accuracy. We just don't want some yahoo shooting a gun.

New shooter, generaly is one that has never shot any action pistol sport like IDPA or USPSA. The weather should be nicer than the GSSF match last weekend. By the way A.T., I placed 21st out of 140 entries in Civilian division, first time out. Won't be able to make the Nov USPSA match Sunday, I'll have to wait until the Dec 2nd match. Carter
