Don sold me a bunch of his M1 LC brass a while back. After my M1 came back from Roland Beaver, glass bedded, Douglas barrel, trigger job, NM sights etc. I fired this group with my handloads and Don's brass.

IMR 4895, 48.8 grains, Federal 210 GM match primer, Speer 150 gr FMJBT. Only brass prep was primer pocket. Sized and decapped with an RCBS X-die, seated with a Forster micrometer seater. Fired on a sunny, still day when I could see well, from a sandbag rest fore and aft.

Nice shooting.

May I ask why you said "USSR's brass" ?

(I guess it has something to do with the poster USSR. Missed that.)

USSR is Don

He's the member who had a bunch of items for sale. I bought bullets and brass.

Group was fired at 100 yd, which is the max at my range. Two 5-round clips.

Interestingly, I find that my rifle fires better groups when I use the 8 rd clips than the combination 2-rd/5-rd clips.

Now I have a batch of ammo loaded with 168 gr HPBT match bullets, but I'm being forced to go on a Caribbean cruise, so it'll be wahile.
