I went to help out last night and had a great time. Matthew is very good at what he does, and he is clearly serving a need. I didn't do a firm count, but I'd guess we had 20 to 30 people come through last night in 2 1/2 hours, we had people waiting for lanes most of the night (or waiting for the gun they wanted--anyone have a Ruger .22 they don't want anymore?). Most wanted to shoot the .22, but a few went for the air guns. Several were first time shooters, and many were there for only their second time. They were very receptive not only to coaching, but also to safety reminders. With that many people at the range, they definitely need more help. If you can spare a night, even if it is just one night per month, please contact MatthewVanitas here on THR and let him know you can help. We could have used a third person last night at times.
