As sixgunner said, the only commericial indoor range left in Utah County is
Rangemasters. The municipal
Orem Fitness Center does have a small indoor pistol range, but the hours are awkward (6p-9p, Mon-Fri, something like 10-2 or 10-4 on Saturday, make sure to call for hours and to reserve a lane), but it is only $3 to shoot there and they allow pistols up to .44 mag and .22 rifles.
Provo city has an
outdoor range just up the canyon a few miles, but you need to get a key for it this time of year.
As far as skeet, an unrelated
Provo Gun Club does various clay games every Wednesday evening and one Saturday a month.
If your friends have a thrower of some kind, you can also head over to the far side of the lake and shoot in the unincorporated area of the county, as mentioned before. Your friends should know where that is.
If you're willing to go to the SLC area, you'll have a few more options.
